Milan Salone Del Mobile 2016 - Dica Kitchens

Every year we visit Salone Del Mobile in Milan during design week and every day we are walking around 10 hours a day in order to discover and find new interesting design companies and products, some inspiration, ideas and new trends to share with you and our Clients. And as usual, on the week after the show we write on our blog about all the good finds.

Dica.

We already used Dica Kitchen quite a few times and were very pleased to see their stand (which was bigger this year) during Salone Del Mobile. They still have 3 main kitchen ranges: Serie 45, Soho and Arcadia, but they improved some of their finishes and added some new extras, which we liked a lot.

Their stand was designed nicely with different kitchens on display, showing some interesting features. We really liked this idea of a kitchen island together with a dining table and a little over-lapping piece. This design definitely adds a character.

 They also introduced this lovely light wood finish for interior drawers.

Light wood could be added to any interior parts now.

Clever idea with some shelving on the other side of the kitchen.

 Dica also manufactures wardrobes and joinery.

 Another interesting design feature for the kitchen island: wooden recessed shelf and a floating bar top.

Beautiful light wood finish. Looks very modern in combination with some grey wall surface.

Dica also started to produce those steel frames, which could be used for anything from kitchen details to tables and shelving units. Steel frame comes in 14mm thickness.

 Also they started to produce table tops in wood. Pretty pretty things:)
