Wooden Effect Tiles

Wooden effect tiles were extremely popular last year, they are the same ceramic or porcelain tiles but with the meticulous reproduction of wood's colour, texture and variations on the top glazed layer. Those tiles could be perfect for wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchen splash backs. 

A lot of people are comparing wood effect tiles to real wood, I would not do so. Of course, tiles are more easy to maintain, they last longer and they are saving trees, but it is something completely different. At the end tiles are tiles, they will look beautiful in the bathrooms, but I guess you would not want them in your bedroom.
