Terazzo was especially popular in Italy around 40s and 50s, and as we can notice that mid-century style is becoming fashionable, terrazzo could be spotted more and more. We cannot resist and falling in love with it.

We have previously written a blog post dedicated to a history of Terrazzo tiles, you can read it here, and now we are sharing with you some ideas of how modern terrazzo can be used in the house.

Terrazzo tiles in the bathroom can look neutral and be a feature at the same time.

Terrazzo slabs could be used as a kitchen worktop to bring some character to the kitchen, as well as it could be used anywhere else in the house from flooring, decorative panels, furniture and even staircases.

There a lot of different terrazzo variations now, in almost all different colours that you can imagine. This material can work almost within any style.
