Ascot - A day at the Races

It's that time of year again when English people put on a frilly frock and head to Ascot racecourse for ROYAL Ascot - the first day is today and the event runs all week. It's a fantastic summer event and everyone who lives in England and enjoys the culture should attend at least once. Chances are once you've been, you will be going again! Some of the hats that people come up with are definitely of architectural value - towering inventions that defy gravity. Very exciting indeed.

Although sometimes it's fun to see a creative, architectural masterpiece of a hat that adds comedy value - these hats can sometimes verge on the ridiculous. Dress codes have been much stricter of late.
